My name is David Mackey. I am the owner and operator of Dave’s Guide to the Best of the Web. I’ve designed this blog as a daily chronicle of the best websites I am able to find. Through it I hope to help introduce anyone who visits to new and interesting websites. I’m not focused on one topic in particular - rather I am attempting to roam across the entire gamut - excluding topics dealing with pornographic or illegal materials.

Who is Dave Mackey?

     Ahh, now that is a loaded question, to which I am not sure I even have the answer. I currently reside in Pennsylvania though I was born and raised in the hilltowns outside of Albany NY. I was educated at Philadelphia Biblical University and received a Bachelors in Biblical Studies with an emphasis on Pastoral Ministries. While my desire is long-term to pursue a ministerial position, I currently am employed full-time as a Network Engineer for Collages.Net Inc. Why This Site?

     There are several reasons for this site. One is that I want to share with others the knowledge I have accumulated over many years of browsing the internet. Another is that I hopefully intend to go into ministry full-time, but would like to do so while supporting myself - thus I do hope to monetize this blog as well. I hope my honesty about these dual purposes will be well-received. I do not believe that one desire has to contradict the other. I am of the firm belief that businesses will be most successful when they best serve their consumers.
